Four Hurt On Roads
A Christchurch youth I suffered head and internal injuries when he fell from the rear of a truck in the Lewis Pass yesterday afternoon. He is Lewis Heath, aged 19, of 239 Wairakei road. Mr Heath was brought to Christchurch by ambulance, and admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital. Cyclist Injured.—Robert Taylor, aged 12, of 375 Wilsons road, suffered head injuries when his cycle and a car collided in Wilsons road shortly before 10 p.m. yesterday. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, where his condition last night was satisfactory. Boy Injured.—ln a collision involving tw’o cycles and a car outside 45 Bellbrook crescent about 2.7 p.m. yesterday a boy, Grant Donald McKenzie, the son of Mrs N. McKenzie, of 18 Bellbrook crescent, suffered head and arm injuries. He was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital, where his condition last night was satisfactory. Power-cyclist Injured.— When a power-cycle and a car collided outside 112 Cashel street about 3.58 p.m. yesterday Edward Hutton, of 348 Estuary road, suffered head injuries. He was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital, where his condition last night was satisfactory.
