THEFT FROM HOUSE

A transistor radio, a signet nng, a sovereign and a half sovereign were taken from a house in Centaurus road between March 22 and March 28 it was reported to the police yesterday. The Northern Book Shop, 917 A Colombo street, was entered between March 25 and March 28 and £1 13s in cash was taken.

Two schools, Christchurch Girls’ High School and Kirkwood Intermediate, have also been broken into recently, but nothing has been reported as being taken.
