READY IN MAY
Ambulance Project
A new garage being built for the Lyttelton ambulance in London street should be ready by the end of May. The Lyttelton Lions’ Club started raising funds for the project last year because the present garage was deteriorating. The garage site, containing two houses which have since been demolished, was purchased for £970 by the Christchurch Centre of the St John Ambulance Association. Money for the garage was contributed by Lyttelton organisations and individuate.
