(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. In a final which saw some of the most brilliant play in many yeans at an Easter tournament in Dunedin, the New Zealand representative, R. C. Murray, won the Otago amateur golf championship by beating G. E. Clarke 3 and 1 at Balmacewan yesterday. * When the game ended om the seventeenth, Murray was three under and Clarke • all square. The best ball for the match was eight under. Murray will play in first place In the Otago team tot compete in the Freyberg Rose,
Bowl tournament at St Clair, Dunedin, next month with the youthful Clarke in second berth.
The team, in playing order, is Murray (captain), Clarke, A. Palmer, C. A. Cowie, J. S. Roche, C. G. Munro. The emergencies are P. Conlon and P. J. Young.
