Birtwistle For Waikato
(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON. The All Black winger, W. M. Birtwistle, will be available for Waikato this Rugby season. He has joined a club at Te Awamutu and will be playing for it in the Spillane Cup tournament for North Island Catholic teams at Hamilton at Easter. Until now Birtwistle had been looked on as an acquisition for Bay of Plenty after he moved from Christchurch to Rotorua toward the end of last year.
