WAIMAIRI CHANGE
Demands In Decimals Receipts issued from the main office in Fendalton of the Waimairi County Council will be shown in both decimals and sterling. Demands for payment issued from the office will also be in both currencies from today. The council’s new cash register is in decimal figures, but the sterling equivalents will also be shown until July 10. The present cash regis> ter in the main office will go away for conversion to decimal currency on Monday and will be in use by April 3, the first working day of next month, to make out receipts and accounts in decimals at the city office of the council from then on.
