DIPLOMATS EXPELLED
(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) MOSCOW, March 19. Russia yesterday expelled two Chinese diplomats accused of being responsible for a fight in Moscow’s Red Square which almost led to a break in Chinese-Soviet relations. A Soviet Foreign Ministry statement charged Peking’s Embassy in Moscow with “insolently ignoring” normal diplomatic practice and staging anti-Soviet provocations. The move was apparently in retaliation for the expulsion of two Soviet diplomats from Peking a week ago.
