Cheltenham Gold Cup
(N.Z. PA.-Reuter —Copyright) CHELTENHAM. Woodland Venture, the youngest horse in the field, won the Cheltenham Gold Cup Steeplechase yesterday. In a splendid finish, Woodland Venture, brilliantly ridden by T. Biddlecombe. held on gamely to beat Stalbridge Colonist by three-quarters of a length. Whay a Myth was two lengths away third in the eight-horse field.
