MELBOURNE CROWD.—This huge crowd, estimated at 200,000 by police, packed the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne, for the “Music for the People” show held as part of the annual Moomba Festival. The internationally-known Australian singing group, the Seekers, who were brought home especially for the show, were a little nervous when they faced the crowd, but were reported to be “thrilled” by their reception.
