Prince Garry May Win At Auckland
"The Press" Special Service AUCKLAND. Prince Garry and Deep Acre are likely to dominate the bet. ting on the Akarana Handicap, the second leg of the T.A.B. double at Alexandra Park tomorrow night.
Both have been racing well, but unluckily. Prince Garry would have done better than fourth with a good run on the first night of the meeting, and with any luck Deep Acre would have won last week. He lost by only a nose. Elegant Hanover is fancied for the first leg, the C. F. Mark Memorial Handicap. He ruined his chance on the first night by breaking badly at the start, but he showed by a great run for sixth that he was in top form. The weather is expected to be fine and the track will be fast.
