It would largely entail development work in the structural steel and construction fields. The appointment would be to Head Office in Wellington, but some travelling would be involved. In addition, the appointee would be required to spend two to three months overseas for specialised training. RESPONSIBILITY would be to the Managing Director for the development and promotion of all phases of the operation, with full design authority. Duties could extend, however, into other aspects of the company's activities. THE REQUIREMENTS are for a man in the 35-45 year age group, qualified B.E. preferably in Civil Engineering. He would have had experience in building construction and the ability to deal at top level with appropriate authorities and Government Departments. REWARDS would include a commencing salary in the £2,000£2,500 range, with regular reviews. Bonuses are paid and an excellent superannuation scheme operates. Removal expenses would be' paid where applicable and other fringe benefits would be discussed at a confidential interview.
