Wheel Fell Off Sulky
An inquiry was held into the breaking of Glen Dee <T. M. May) and interference to Asia Minor (W. J. Doyle) in the straight in the first heat of the New Zealand Trotting Championship at Addington last night. It was found that Stylish Major broke on the home turn, when the field was tightlypacked behind him. Glen Dee, moving out to avoid Stylish Major, struck Asia Minor's sulky wheel. At the furlong Asia Minor’s wheel fell off and the horse was pulled up. No action was taken.
