PRICE DROP “SEASONAL”
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 14. Any drop in the prices of second-hand cars was not the result of recent Government measures, but was seasonal and in line with falls in March for the last 10 years, according to the Auckland Licensed Motor Dealers’ Association. A newspaper survey of Auckland used car prices shows a drop of about 7 per cent in one-third of the vehicles offered compared with two months ago. These prices ranged from £165 to £1075 for cars between 16 and three years old.
