ADDINGTON MARKET Free Sale For Prime Ewes; Lambs Firm

Fat sheep met a good sale at Addington market yesterday. With good competition from both butchers and freezing companies, the ewe sale was a very free one. A larger entry of wethers met a steady sale, and with some outside inquiry, values were a little stronger.

Dairy cattle met a very good sale from a small gallery of buyers, while store cattle values were quoted as firm. Fat Lambs Fat lambs met a firm sale, although the yarding was of very plain quality. The yarding was 2240 compared with 2300 last sale.
