TRAINER FINED
(Special Crepdt. N.Z.P.AJ MELBOURNE. The South Australian trainer, T. Jenner was fined 100 dollars by the V.R.C. Stewards for using “prickers'' in Manlhl’s bridle in the Sires Produce Stakes at Flemington on Saturday. Manlhl started an even money favourite, but ran off the track after going only one furlong and a half of the sevenfurlong Sires Produce Stakes. Stewards ordered a veterinary examination of the horse and a swab.
