Ths New Zealand pacer Van Bebeek responded gamely to win the 10,000 dollar Early Bird Invitation Pace by half a length from Josedale Go Lucky at Roosevelt Raceway on Monday. The 11-year-old Van Rebeck covered the mile In 2mln 4 4-ssec. Thia waa hte first win of the season In eight starts. Van Raback was the 11 to 10 favourite. Josedale Go Lucky finished second, half a length in front of Chicago King.
