Wrong Shark.—A man yesterday jumped on what he thought was a harmless gummy shark, and tried to lift it from the water. But it was a sft man-eating grey nurse shark. Mr Brian Marendaz, aged 36, was mauled on the right foot at Eastern View beach, near Geelong. Geelong Hospital today reported that his condition was satisfactory.—Melbourne, March 13. 1
