Newmarket Win (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE. The Sydney sprinter. Nebo Road led all the way to win the £9600 Newmarket Handicap over six furlongs in record time at Flemington on Saturday. Nebo Road (11 to 2) won by four lengths from Marmion (6 to 1). with Redcap (10 to 1) a length away third. Storm Queen, which started 5 to 2 favourite, found her weight of Bst 111 b too much, but ran on gamely from a wide barrier position to finish fourth. It was the first big win for Nebo Road’S owner, Mr S. Fox. who has spent more than £BO,OOO in two years seeking a good horse. Until Saturday he had won only a few minor races.
