Service Ends
(N.Z. Press Association) WAITANGI (Chathams), March 12. The Royal New Zealand Air Force Sunderland fly-ing-boat service to the Chatham Islands will cease on March 22, but a replacement service will be provided.
This assurance has been given by the Government. The Air Force will use the Haupupu airstrip.
The Sunderland service was started on December 7, 1958.
