Sheen Dog Field Day
The Knockiyn Cup for most points at the annual Sheepdog field day at Gibraltar Farm, Tai Tapu, was won by W. D. Gebbie. The wind made the iheep difficult to handle. The G. E. Williams Challenge Cup, for the best performance in the yarding event, went to D. Calder’s Sharp, with 87 points; the Tobeck Brothers Cup. for the highest aggregate points in the long pull and huntaway events, was awarded to W. D. Gebbie, who scored 186 points with Roy and Peter; and the Blatchford, Cup, for the best performance in the huntaway event, was won by S. Ogg, with Flo. which scored 96 points. The judges were Messrs G. Loe (long pull), J. Kennedy (yarding), and K. Harrison (huntaway). Results were: Long Pull.—lntermediate: W. Gebbie’s Roy (94 points) 1, M. Jobberns’s Maid (92 points) 2, P. Kidd’s Lap (914 points) 3. Maiden: M. Jobberns’s Maid (92 points) 1, W. Gebbie’s Mac (90 points) 2, G. Barclay’s Trix (89 points) 3. Yarding.—D. Calder’s Sharp (87 points) 1, T.
