Reports To Executive
Mrs W. T. R. Rowe welcomed delegates from 31 branches to the meeting of the provincial executive of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers.
Cookery books were selling well, said the treasurer (Mrs H. Rule).
Members were asked to support their journal, “The Countrywoman.” •
The regional co-ordinating committee of W.D.F.F. and the Country Women’s Institute will hold schools for judging floral work on May 25 and 26, and for cooking on June 8 and 9. Mrs R. V. Chapman will take applications for both classes.
Three house-keepers are available under the W.D.F.F. house-keeping scheme. The Sunnyside and-Temple-ton committees said they had been kept busy. With winter approaching both groups would welcome gifts of bed socks and hot water bottle covers.
