ROOF TRIM.—Two players prepare to tee off at the El Camino golf course in south San Francisco, while the green-keeper mows the roof of the club-house behind them. Patterned after the sod roofs of houses in Ireland, the roof gets fertilizer and regular watering as well as mowing. Originally a novelty attraction, the roof has also proved to have insulating characteristics.
