Otago Ist In Z-Class
(N Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. Otago had Little difficulty in retaining its title when the Z-cl-ass South Island yachting championships were held at St. Leonards, near Dunedin, at the week-end. A strong south-westerly wind provided some spectacular sailing. Only two boats managed to come through the four races without capsizing. Otago yachtsmen took all three places in the South Island championships. Results:— South Island Title.—Frith <T. Elliot and A. Beveridge, Otago), 1: Nautical (B. Boyes and D. Borehan, Otago). 2; Battlecry (A. Bell and S. Bell, Otago), 3.
