AUCKLAND. Although it lacks horses in form, the field for the Ohine* muri Cup at Paeroa today may provide a good race.

Creollan, now that the ground has eased, may be the best prospect but it is hard to choose between the others.

The softening of the track has also brightened the chances of Gold Chick and High News.

In anything like his best form the Takanini five-year-old Misere would take the second leg of the T.A.B. double, the Electric Handicap. He has looked close to his best lately and the prospect of easier footing has heartened his backers. His hardest opponents seem likely to be Summer Blaze, Clarry, Super Count and Merry Men.
