‘Wonderful’ 100 Years
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright.) MOSCOW, Mar. 9. A couple living in a mountain village near Baku, on the Caspian Sea, yesterday celebrated their 100th wedding anniversary, the Soviet News Agency Tass reported. Balakishi Orudzhems, aged 130, and his wife, Amina, aged 114, were being congratulated by friends at their house in the village of Ukhychi, the agency said. Mr Orudzhems, described by Tass as tall, lean and staid, said: “It is a wonderful century that I have lived with my wife.”
