PLAGUE IN VIETNAM
Cam Ranh Report (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SAIGON, March 9. The United States authorities said today that an outbreak of plague at the South Vietnamese port of Cam Ranh Bay appeared to be pnder control. Some restrictions imposed to fight the disease have been lifted.
A United States spokesman said that about 40 people were suspected of having plague, including one American, a United States Army wharf labourer. All of the cases have been reported since February 28.
