Converted Car Sought
Although police throughout the South Island have been alerted and several broadcasts have been made, no trace has been found of a car which was taken from Sumner nearly four weeks ago. The Morris Minor 1000, painted deep blue, was parked in Marriner street on the night of February 9. The registered number is AP 9418. It is a 1957 model, and belongs to Miss M. Chapman and Miss E. Chapman, of 247 Worcester street The driving licences of both owners were in the car, with other belongings. Any person who has seen the car or knows anything about it is asked to get in touch with the C. 1.8. at the Christchurch Central police station.
