Catching The Bus
Although Mr Justice Wilson had indicated in the Supreme Court yesterday that he would probably allow an appeal on a traffic case, counsel, Mr A. P. C. Tipping, said he would like to make one more submission. “Is this really necessary?” asked his Honour. “I’m going to allow your appeal—what more do you want? There’s no use chasing the bus when you’ve caught it,” Mr Tipping: I wasn’t quite sure that I’d caught the bus. HL Honour: You can take it from me that you have.
