INJURIES IN HYDERABAD
Nizam’s Coffin “Stampede” (N.Z.P. A.-Reuter —Copyright) HYDERABAD, Feb. 26. A stampede broke out and many were injured in a rush to shoulder the Nizam of Hyderabad’s coffin at his funeral in Hyderabad today. About half a million people turned out to watch the funeral procession of the man who once was rated the richest man in the world. He died yesterday, aged 80. The stampede happened at the Mecca Masjid mosque to where the body was taken from the Nizam's palace for funeral prayers. It was at the gate of the mosque afterwards that the rush developed.
