2d Bottle Offer
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, February 27. The Auckland Milk Treatment Corporation has sent a letter to all schools in Auckland offering to supply milk for pupils at just under 2d a half-pint bottle. The General Manager, Mr G. B. Hickey, said the Milk Board had authorised the supply of milk to schools wanting it at shop-dairy price of 31d a gallon. This would mean pupils could have milk at school for about lOd a week if any schools accepted the proposals.
