HANDBAGS STOLEN
Two handbags and their contents valued at £2B and £7 ss, were stolen from the Avon river bank on Saturday. Another handbag, valued at £2 4s lid, was stolen from the Waltham Park pool. A wallet valued at £3 was stolen from the Centennial Pool. On Sunday, the Hillsborough store in Opawa road was broken into and cigarettes valued at £2 10s stolen. Smiths Food Centre in Waltham road was entered and 15 packets of cigarettes and £l3 were stolen.
