Crash Victims Named
(N.Z. Press Association) NELSON, Feb. 27. The names of the two Englishmen killed after being struck by a car at Tasman, near Motueka, on Thursday night, have been released by the Nelson police. They were Anthony Bryan Waters, aged 25, of Eastbourne, Sussex, who had been working at a farm at Upper Moutere, and Bernard David Allden, aged 26, of London, who had been working at Tasman. Both were seasonal workers. Mr Allden was killed almost instantly. Mr Waters was seriously injured and taken to hospital, where he died later.
