More Pay For Timber Work
Increases ranging from 2jd to 6d an hour have been granted to timber workers in all districts except Marlborough, Nelson, and Westland in a new award announced by the Court of Arbitration. The award will take effect from November 21, 1966. Boys and youths get Increases of 2}d an hour and female workers get increases of 8s 6d a week. Watchmen and camp caretakers get an increase of 10s a week.
