Week-End Accidents

When two cars collided in New Brighton road about 8.30 p.m. on Sunday three persons were injured. Patricia Jane Laws, of 61 Baker street, and Patrick Joseph Collins, of 73 Garlands road, were admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital suffering from head and arm injuries. Margaret Diana Empson, of 154 Bower avenue, was treated at the Christchurch Hospital for leg injuries. Car Hits Tractor.—A boy, Neville Jones, of 14 Onawe place, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital with injuries he suffered when a car struck a tractor on Tram road, Kaiapol, on Sunday evening. Hit Kerb.—Head and arm injuries were suffered by Rapana Hepi, of 24 Bordesley street, when a motor-cycle hit a kerb in Moorhouse avenue on Saturday evening. He was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital. Head Injuries. Michael Graham, of 541 Worcester street, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital suffering from head injuries after a cycle and power-cycle collided at the corner of Linwood avenue and Aidwins road about 8.15 p.m. on Sunday. Hit Parked Car.—After a car struck a parked car in Cranford street about 1.20 a.m. on Saturday Gordon Roger Marks, of 80 Cranford street, was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital suffering from head injuries. Boy Injured.—When his. cycle and a car collided at the corner of Worcester street and Rolleston terrace about 5.20 p.m. on Saturday Robert Kerehoma, a boy, of 62 Papanui road, suffered head and leg injuries. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. Struck By Car.—A young bov. Selwyn John O’Neill, of 711 Ferry road, suffered head injuries when he was struck by a car in Ferry road about 4.10 p.m. on Saturday. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. Head Injuries. Car Hits Pole.—John Erie Conner, of 52 Torlesse street, suffered head injuries when a car hit a pole in Wainoni road about 7.25 p.m. on Saturday. He was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital. Collision.—Head and chest Injuries were suffered by Ross Inkster, of Seven Oaks drive, when two cars collided at the corner of Cashel and Barbadoes streets about 1.45 a.m. on Sunday. He was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital.
