Enrolments Increased
Enrolments at the University of Canterbury for 1967 at the end of enrolment week yesterday were 453 higher than in 1966. There has been an enrolment of 5128 and a number of late enrolments are still expected. The enrolments for the different faculties, with last year’s enrolments in parentheses, are:— Arts, 2085 (1850); science, 1277 (1153): law. 274 (273); commerce, 542 (551); engineering, 682 (626); music, not including students taking music for an arts degree, 50 (47); fine arts, 218 (175).
