Trial Rides For Team
A semi-official meeting for members of the Canterbury track cycling team for the national championships and any other interested riders—will be held at English Park tomorrow morning. It is being held to sharpen up competitors before they go to Auckland for the national titles and, more especially, to give riders intensive work in specialist events. There will probably be a full series of sprints, some pursuits, including one between the senior and junior teams, standing and flying half-miles for the time trialists, and a 10-mile scratch race.
