NO RACES IN MAY
Greymouth Club (N.Z. Press Association) GREYMOUTH. The Greymouth district committee has been advised by the Greymouth Jockey Club that because of the inclement weather for its two-day meeting last November it will be forced to forgo its further two days' racing this season in favour of another club in the district.
The Westport Jockey Club’s application to race on April 29 and May 1 in lieu of the Greymouth meeting scheduled for May 6 and 9 has been forwarded by the district committee to the New Zealand Racing Conference for approval.
