Unlicensed Driver

AUCKLAND, Feb. 9.
A 16-year-old unlicensed driver was today fined £25 for careless driving causing death. He appeared in the Auckland Children’s Court. Mr N. M. Izard, S.M., disqualified him from driving for two years. Any subsequent licence will be endorsed for three years. The boy denied the charge. Sergeant B. P. Donnelly said that the car had hit a street pole in September last year, killing a boy passenger.
