BORN ON BRIDGE

(N.Z. Press Aspn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, January 24.

A toll-collector and a passing doctor helped deliver a young woman’s baby on the harbour bridge today. The woman’s mother, who was driving her to hospital, also assisted at the birth. At 5.30 a.m., as the car approached the toll gates, the woman began to give birth to the baby. Her mother summoned toll collectors.

A doctor on his way to the city stopped his car and completed the delivery. There were no complications.
