(N.Z. Press Association) BLENHEIM. The former New Zealand pace bowler, G. A. Bartlett, climaxed his return to cricket with a brilliant bowling and batting display for Marlborough in a two-day game against Wellington B. In Wellington’s first innings he claimed seven wickets for 24 off 19 overs, to help dismiss the visiting side for 150. In Marlborough’s second innings he top-scored with 73, including 11 fours—three of them off successive balls — and two sixes. In the match, which was drawn, Marlborough had a first innings total of 210, to which Wellington replied with 150. Marlborough declared at seven for 168. At stumps Wellington had scored 102 for four.
