Minogue, president of the scheme in New Zealand, at the mayoral reception today to 39 students who arrived yesterday from the United States for a year’s study in New Zealand secondary schools. Dr. Minogue said New Zealand’s total placed it 24th among the 75 nations which have sent students to the United States. The 230 students who had come to New Zealand from the United States placed this country second among those taking American students. Ten of the 39 this year will be in Auckland schools.
