Loading For Antarctic
The United States supply vessel Alatna returned to Lyttelton from McMurdo Sound yesterday morning to load another petroleum cargo for Antarctica. She is now loading 622,000 gallons of jet fuel and 676,000 gallons of diesel oil and is expected to sail again today. She will make two more Antarctic voyages this season.
