Flights Turn Back
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. Jan. 23. A cross-wind of 40 knots blowing across Dunedin Airport forced the Viscount from Christchurch, due at Dunedin at 11.55 a.m, to return to Christchurch. The flight was cancelled and the passengers were booked on to a later flight. A flight Hom Invercargill, which normally arrives at Dunedin at 12.30 p.m., was flown over to Christchurch.
