Medical Check In Auckland (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 23. The Prime Minister of the Cook Islands (Mr Albert Henry) arrived in Auckland today to undergo specialist i medical examination for a stomach ailment. | Mr Henry said he had been advised by the Director of i Health for the Cook Islands (Dr. A. Guinea) to seek I specialist opinion in Auckland after a recent illness.
I “I am hoping that the specialists will say that I (have been cured by the treat'ment I was given in the Cook Islands, so that I can return Iby the end of the month,” he | said. : Mrs Henry, Dr. Guinea, and .the New Zealand High Commissioner for the Cook Islands (Mr L. J. Davis) 'accompanied Mr Henry.
Navy Exercises.—The frigate Taranaki put to sea today for a week’s gunnery and aircraft-tracking exercises in the Hauraki Gulf. The Taranaki is expected to leave within the next six weeks to replace H.M.N.Z.S. Blackpool on the Far East station.— Auckland, January 23.
