Charm In Charms
Charms within charms are the latest fashion craze. For pet lovers there is a wide choice of suitable designs, including a perky silver rabbit sitting inside a little hinged egg, and a tiny bird swinging in a cage of either 9-carat gold or silver. A cute silver dog keeps a careful lookout from his kennel and there is even a lobster trapped in a prettily-designed lobster pot in either silver or 9-carat gold. Silver down-on-the-farm charms include a horse in a small bricked stable complete with half doors, and a cow patiently waiting in its shed to be milked.
For home-loving types there is a silver house charm which opens to reveal a selection of miniature furniture, including a grandfather clock and a chair, and a beautifully made little silver wigwam charm which conceals a Red Indian chief wearing a minute feathered headdress. If the open road calls, a delightful furnished caravan in silver fits the bill, but if the call of the sea is stronger there is a tiny Noah’s Ark, complete with little silver animals.
