Auckland Unbeaten
"The Press” Special Service DUNEDIN. Auckland retained its unbeaten record with two more victories when the national women’s softball championship was continued in Dunedin yesterday.
Auckland has six wins, Wellington four, Otago and Canterbury three each, and Hutt Valley two. Canterbury defeated Hutt Valley, 6-1, but was beaten, 14-8, by Wellington. Canterbury opened with four runs against Wellington but was unable to sustain the pressure, and Wellington finished stronger. Results:—
