Put Back With Engine Trouble

AUCKLAND, Dec. 30.
The 6198-ton British freighter Hudson Deep returned to Auckland with engine trouble this afternoon after sailing for Newcastle at 10 a.m.
The ship has recently been bringing sugar from mills in Mourilyan, Queensland, and returning in ballast to Australia.
