Topics For Talks
(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) LONDON, Dec. 28. The Soviet Prime Minister (Mr Alexei Kosygin) will visit Britain in February for a week, Government officials announced today. Mr Kosygin, rapidly becoming Russia’s most widely travelled leader, is expected to confer with the British Prime Minister (Mr Wilson) on a wide range of matters during the February 6 to 13 visit. The war in Vietnam was expected to be high on the agenda. Mr Kosygin, who has just returned from a visit to Turkey, accepted an invitation extended by Mr Wilson when the British Prime Minister visited Moscow last February. Other issues likely to be discussed by Mr Wilson and Mr Kosygin include: Prospects for early agreement on a nuclear nonproliferation treaty. Possible moratorium on an anti-missile defence buildup and other arms control measures. East-west tension easing agreements include an increase in trade and the problem of divided Germany.
