Russell Sends Investigators

Bertrand Russell has sent a seven-man team to Hanoi to investigate targets of American bombing. The team includes an Australian journalist, Wilfred Burchett.
A spokesman for Lord Russell’s international war crimes tribunal said any evidence of bombing of civilian areas in North Vietnam would be used at the planned “trial” in Paris next March of President Johnson and other United States leaders.
