Group Captain A. N. Marsh, Director of Medical Services in the Royal New Zealand Air Force, has been appointed Director-General of Medical Services of the Royal Australian Air Force, the Minister of Defence (Mr Fairhall) announced today. Group Captain Marsh will fill the position at present held by Air Vice-Marshal L. R. Trudinger. Air Vice-Marshal Trudinger will take up an appointment with the Department of Defence late next month, when he will become Joint Services Medical Adviser and chairman of the Medical Services Rationalisation Committee. Mr Fairhall said that Group Captain Marsh would hold the acting rank of air vice-marshal when Air ViceMarshal Trudinger moved to defence.
